A Message from the Minister for Education and Science The publication of Aistear: the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework marks an important milestone in early childhood education in Ireland.
Aistear: the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework was developed in 2009, in partnership with the early childhood sector. Practitioners, children, parents, people in education and training, researchers, and policy makers worked together to ensure that Aistear builds on practice in early childhood settings and is informed by research.
